Ismar a photographer working and living in London. His favourite subject is people, while his work often revolves around the theatre of street life in cities and themes of urbanisation and climate change.

He graduated with an MA in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography (2012/2013) at the London College of Communication, University of the Arts London.

He worked as a Technical Tutor in Photography at the University of Roehampton in London (2006-2024), Digital Imaging Manager at FM Agency (2003-2006), and Library Assistant at Network Photographers (2000-2001).

During his professional career he worked with numerous commercial clients and organisations, including City of London, Kingston Communications, Crown Estates, Top Floor Rugs, Interdesign, Somebody Digital, Drilles, British Heart Foundation, and Royal Trinity Hospice.
