How Photographic Cameras Work – Setting Up The Camera
The fifth part of a mini-course looking at the exposure triangle and fundamental controls of the photographic camera. In this video we will go over the main controls of a DSLR camera, find the three basic controls we talked about in the previous videos, and set it up before going out to shoot.
The course is less than an hour long but takes a deep look at the most important camera controls- the ISO, shutter speed, and aperture- and examines how these relate to each other and how they affect the images we produce.
Having worked with photography students for more than 15 years, I found that many do not have a firm grasp of these basic concepts even after years of practice. Hopefully, this short course will clarify these very important concepts and allow you to use your camera with confidence.
